The Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 566 Walnut Trail, has a capacity of 6 million gallons per day with an average flow of 3.5 million gallons per day. It uses a conventional primary treatment process with secondary biological processes and serves Waynesville and Junaluska Sanitary District.
