The Town of Waynesville Purchasing Department operates under the supervision of the Town's Finance Department. The main function is the procurement of supplies, equipment and materials for all town departments. Like all municipalities in North Carolina, buying processes are governed by the North Carolina General Statutes.
The Purchasing Department operates a central warehouse which maintains materials commonly used throughout the Town. Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Deliveries are accepted between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
