The Town of Waynesville Purchasing Department operates under the supervision of the Town's Finance Department. The main function is the procurement of supplies, equipment and materials for all town departments. Like all municipalities in North Carolina, buying processes are governed by the North Carolina General Statutes.

The Purchasing Department operates a central warehouse which maintains materials commonly used throughout the Town. Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Deliveries are accepted between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Skate Park Design Request for Proposals
The Town of Waynesville requests proposals for professional services from qualified firms or individuals to develop specific site plans, cost estimates, and project phasing options, for a skate board park and associated park amenities/elements immediately surrounding the Skate Park area.
