Waynesville's Mayor is elected by and from the qualified voters of the Town of Waynesville for a term of four (4) years. The Mayor is the official head of the Town Government and presides at all meetings of the Board of Aldermen. Waynesville's Mayor has the right to vote on all matters before the Board.
Gavin A. Brown (Waynesville Attorney) was elected Mayor in November 2007.
