The Town of Waynesville Mayor and Board of Aldermen are elected to serve four (4) year concurrent terms. Elections were held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 and the oaths of office for the incoming Board were administered by Judge J. Marlene Hyatt at the December 11, 2007 meeting. The next election will be held in 2011. Elections are non-partisan and handled by the Haywood County Board of Elections at 828-452-6633. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room of Town Hall located at 9 South Main Street, Waynesville, NC 28786. All meetings are open to the public.
