In January 2006 the Public Art Commission was established to promote and maintain public art. Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room.

Members are appointed by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen and terms are for four (4) years. Members include: Sarah Kucharski, Karen Kaufman, Michael Gillespie, Philan Medford, Norretta Taylor, Marilyn Sullivan, Chris Sylvester and Kaaren Stoner.
