HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
The Historic Preservation Commission was created to perform the duties of regulating historic landmarks and historic districts. A majority of the members shall have demonstrated special interest, experience, or education in history, architecture, archaeology or related fields. Members must reside within the land use area of Waynesville. The Commission consists of seven (7) members. Terms of appointment are for four (4) years with an appointment date of January 31. Meetings are on the first Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Board Room at 9 South Main Street in Waynesville.
