Land development standards

The new ordinances are based heavily on design. Instead of "use" being the major regulating factor, the design of the public space is the most emphasized part of the development. The area between the front of the building and the middle of the street (the public space), should be very comfortable for all modes of transportation. Note the Russ Ave Town Center for a good example of current strip development being retrofitted into something that is going to become part of the community.

Application for certificate of zoning compliance

These can be filled out and dropped off in the planning/zoning office. Please attach a site plan.
