TOWN HALL

Waynesville's Town Hall was constructed in 1917 as the first U. S. Post Office in Waynesville.  It served in this capacity until 1966 when it was purchased by the Town of Waynesville to serve as its Municipal Building.  Interior renovations were completed in 1989.  The brick, two story structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The offices of Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Zoning, Planning and the Public Works Director are currently located in the Town Hall at 16 South Main Street in Waynesville.

The Board of Aldermen conduct their meetings in the Board Room of Town Hall on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
