PUBLIC WORKS

The Town of Waynesville Public Works Department is located at 129 Legion Drive in Waynesville. This department provides water and sewer maintenance, sanitation service and street maintenance to all Town residents. It also provides electric service to some limited areas. The Public Works Department coordinates maintenance of public grounds and cemeteries, snow and ice removal, leaf, yard waste and bulky items collection.

To contact Public Works regarding a problem please call 828-456-3706.  Office hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  For emergencies after normal business hours or on weekends or holidays call the Waynesville Police Department at 828-456-5363.
